Empower your body, enhance your strength, and support your pelvic health over six weeks with our Women's Weights & Wellness Class, designed specifically for women aged 40 and beyond. This small group class (maximum of 6 participants) provides a welcoming and supportive environment to focus on building strength, improving balance, and maintaining mobility.
Through targeted exercises and weight training, you’ll strengthen your core, pelvic floor, and overall body, helping to reduce the risk of injury and improve daily function. Whether you’re new to exercise or experienced, this class is tailored to meet your needs and fitness level.
Objective:
To enhance strength, flexibility, pelvic floor health, and overall wellness through low-impact exercises that promote healthy aging, improved mobility, and increased muscle tone.
Class outline:
5 minute warm up to prepare the body for exercise, increase blood flow and reduce the risk of injury.
Followed by light cardio and dynamic stretching
Circuit style training for 25 minutes
Each exercise lasts 45 seconds with 15 seconds rest in between.
The exercises concentrate on upper and lower body for an all body workout. Exercises can be modified for different levels of ability.
Core and pelvic floor activation exercises for 5 minutes.
Cool down stretches on the floor mat.
Each class will finish with a short breathing exercise to relax the mind and improve emotional wellbeing.
Support Group
Alongside all of this you will also get access to an (optional) private online group to support you and to offer tips and advice.
